frequently asked questions

We understand that sometimes you just need straightforward answers to some quick initial questions. Here’s just a few of the answers to some questions we’re asked frequently, so hopefully it will save you a little time.

Can I have a free taster session?

At F4A, we go beyond free taster sessions with our money back guarantee. This means that if you sign up to F4A and for any reason your child doesn’t love their first session, we will provide you with a full refund. We are, however, confident that after your child’s session, they will love it so much they definitely wish to return. For more information please see our returns and refunds policy.

Can we just turn up and pay at the session?

We like people to book with us before attending the first F4A session. Payment is required for the first term’s sessions before your child attends their first session. By booking online we can let your coach know you will be attending, keeping the session as safe and organised as possible.

Contact us at football.for.all.sw@gmail.com to speak with us or go through the contact us  section of our website. To make a booking please go to the ‘book a session’ page.

What footwear does my child need?

Your child will require Astro turf or football boots with no metal studs. Sessions are held on 3G pitches as well as grass.

When will my first payment leave my account?

Your first term’s costs will likely leave your account immediately, if not, within 3 days of you booking a place.

Does my child get an F4A kit?

When you book onto an F4A session, you can order clothing via our website. We do encourage your child to wear our popular football shirt so that every child feels a part of the team. All children can wear their own black shorts/black football socks.

Check out the SHOP here.

We are happy to change any kits that do not fit for another size free of charge.

What is the cancellation process?

We understand that children’s interests can change and with this in mind parents are able to cancel their child's place any time and we can refund the difference. To cancel, we just ask parents to email us regarding this. Please see returns and refunds policy for cancellation information.

Where am I on the waiting list?

Sometimes we do get fully booked and we must place interested parents/children on a waiting list. When you are on the waiting list and a place becomes available, we will send an email out to everyone at the same time to give all parents and young people the same opportunity to get a place.

We are opening new classes to meet demands, so fingers crossed you will never be on the waiting list for too long, but if you’re ever in doubt, drop a message on social media or send an email. We are always happy to help you.

Are the sessions indoors or outdoors?

Sessions are held mostly outdoors on 3G or grass. Sessions may move indoors during the winter months as a last resort but we can still use the 3G all-weather pitches.  If a session is cancelled due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, you will be informed as soon as possible prior to the session and the session will be rearranged.  Updates are regularly made on our Facebook page.

What happens in the sessions?

Our sessions are designed to be engaging, energetic and interactive.  Our qualified coaches design sessions that support young people to develop confidence, team building, social skills and language whilst supporting them to develop their performance and enhance their skills to implement in their game.

We work alongside local football teams, so that what your child learns will be implemented in their game play. We do not replace the coaching they receive nor do we have league matches.

We are always developing new ways of coaching and teaming up with some of the best sporting bodies out there to offer the best service we can.

Is F4A ‘Term Time’ only?

The F4A takes place in term time. We train every week during school time. During the holidays, the children can join our holiday camps instead. Please see our ‘book a session’ page to do so or get up to date information on our Facebook page.  Alternatively you can sign up to receive information via email via the ‘contact us page’.

Our F4A Youth Academy normally take a two week break over the Christmas period, and this is usually down to venue availability during this time.

Do I have to re-enrol at the end of each block of F4A sessions

Yes, you can pay for every term when you are ready via our ‘book a session’ page. You may also find some great deals if you choose to block book.
