The Full Story

Who we are:
Football For All Youth Academy, F4A, www.footbalforall.org are a local company providing highly
supportive, inclusive football development programmes to young people in the local community
who are aged 7-16 years. We offer development training for children in a safe, non-pressurised
environment. Our sessions are delivered by dedicated coaches who hold FA accredited
qualifications, and we support our staff by providing training in First Aid, inclusive Coaching,
safeguarding, and working with Autism/Neuro-diversity.


Our Vision:
Our vision is for wellbeing and good mental health for young people in Tavistock to be a priority
by engaging in positive physical activity throughout the economic crisis.


Our Concept:
F4A are seeking to work with the local community to support young people and their families in
Tavistock to engage with positive physical activity.
We are looking to work with local businesses or individuals who wish to partner with us to help
provide opportunities for young people to access our inclusive football development programme.
This project is aimed at supporting Tavistock’s most vulnerable families during this unprecedented
economic situation, providing crucial access to physical activity and its associated social,
psychological, and wellbeing benefits.


Our Aims:
To work with the local people and businesses within the community to support families and young
people in Tavistock and surrounding areas through positive, physical activity.
To create strong links and relationships with locals to improve and develop our services for those in
need.


To give access to our football development programme to any young person regardless of ability or
identity, or a family’s financial circumstances.


To improve all young people’s performance and joy of the game, in a supportive and inclusive
environment.


To increase the awareness of the importance of promoting children and young people’s emotional
well-being and how this connects to physical activity.


To promote the positive benefits of participation in a universal sport, which is played in some of the
world’s poorest streets to the richest pitches of the premiership.


To provide fun, enjoyable, structured sessions to assist young people to achieve by improving their
performance and skill regardless of their starting point, surrounded by other young people and
delivered by qualified, supportive, and experienced coaches.


Our Proposal:

We aspire to work with supportive businesses and individuals who want to help support the children
in their local community by contributing towards the costs for young people to access our wellbeing
programme.


£300 will allow one young person to attend our professional development programme for 1 year (6
School terms).


In return your company or name will be added to our supporter’s banner which will be visible at all
our sessions and on our website, you will receive coverage via our Facebook page
www.facebook.com/footballforallyouthacademy and be invited to attend one of our sessions to see
how your contribution is directly helping families and young people.
